Earth and atmosphere
Pupils learn about the structure of the Earth and atmosphere, covering layers of the Earth, rock types and the rock cycle, weather and climate, carbon and water cycles, and human impacts such as climate change and pollution. They develop map and data interpretation skills, model geological processes and investigate atmospheric composition and greenhouse effects.
