Sketchbooks
Pupils use sketchbooks as a working tool to develop observational studies, experiment with materials, record ideas, annotate intentions and plan projects, learning how to curate pages, sequence development and reflect on progress. They practise quick studies, sustained pieces, sampling, testing techniques and critical evaluation to build a portfolio of work that informs final outcomes.
