Artists and critical studies
Pupils study a diverse range of artists and designers to develop critical vocabulary, contextual awareness and analytical skills, focusing on formal analysis, artist intentions, processes and influence, and learning to produce personal responses and comparative studies. They practise research, annotation, critical evaluation and presentation of findings, building links between source material and creative outcomes.
