Writing composition
Pupils plan, draft and edit for different purposes and audiences, using narrative and non-fiction structures, organising paragraphs around clear main ideas and employing descriptive vocabulary and cohesive devices such as conjunctions and adverbials. They learn to revise for clarity, sentence variety and punctuation accuracy, and to evaluate their own and others' writing.
