Handwriting

Pupils refine letter formation, join handwriting consistently, control size and spacing, and develop legibility and fluency for sustained writing; they practise forming lower- and upper-case letters, joins and appropriate pencil grip while transferring skills into written composition. Handwriting instruction supports neat presentation and stamina for extended tasks.
