Probability
Pupils build understanding of probability using experiments and theoretical models, record outcomes with sample spaces, calculate probabilities for single and combined independent events, and work with relative frequency and mutually exclusive events; they also represent probability on number lines and use diagrams to explain results. Emphasis is on reasoning about chance and comparing experimental and theoretical probabilities.
