Practitioners
Pupils study influential theatre practitioners and performance styles, such as Stanislavski, Brecht, Artaud, and physical theatre approaches, learning to identify characteristic techniques, theory and intended audience effects and to apply these methods in practical tasks. They compare conventions, analyse impacts on meaning and experiment with practitioner-led strategies in devised and scripted work.
