Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9) · Drama
Drama techniques
Pupils explore a range of drama techniques used to create meaning and mood, including freeze-frame, tableau, thought-tracking, mime and physical theatre, and learn how to apply voice, gesture and space to shape dramatic action. They develop skills in improvisation, interpreting stimuli and making purposeful choices to communicate intention and atmosphere to an audience.
