Plants
Pupils learn that plants need water, light and a suitable temperature to grow, identify and name common garden and wild plants, and describe basic parts such as roots, stems, leaves and flowers. They investigate what plants need to survive, observe growth over time, and use simple measurements and drawings to record changes.
