Pupils explore choreography, motifs, dynamics, phrasing and expressive performance in dance, learning to create and adapt sequences, use compositional devices, and apply safe technical skills such as alignment and core control. They analyse different styles, respond to stimuli, work collaboratively on group pieces and develop performance, evaluation and rehearsal techniques.
