Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6) · History
British history beyond 1066
Pupils explore significant developments in British history after 1066, such as the Norman Conquest, medieval society, monarchy and government, the impact of religion and the Reformation, and later political, industrial and social changes up to the modern era. They practise constructing chronological narratives, analysing causes and consequences, and comparing historical interpretations across periods.
