Fieldwork
Pupils carry out fieldwork to ask geographical questions, collect and record data using observations, sketches, surveys and simple instruments, and present findings through annotated maps, charts and conclusions that evaluate reliability and suggest improvements. They learn how to plan enquiries, use sampling techniques and consider safety and ethics in fieldwork.
