Fractions
Pupils understand unit and non-unit fractions, equivalence, simplifying, ordering and converting between improper fractions and mixed numbers, and add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions where appropriate, including fractions of amounts. They use visual models, common denominators and reasoning to solve problems and connect fractions to decimals and percentages.
